Since Honda did away with the Z model and now they have the XR 50 what is the difference between the two ? The XR 50 looks smaller seat height ? leaner looking and lighter looking. Is the XR50 as peppy and playfull as a the old Z50 ? We have a mini bike track on the side of my house were some kids ride Z50's and pw 80's and a few kids have suzuki ds 80's and im tired of watching and want something to go out there with them. I usually personally keep up the track bringing in loads of dirt ( 10 bucks a yard ) they pay for the dirt I bring it and dump it and they build the jumps. Its some preety cool jumps. So which will do best the Z50 or XR50. Im looking for something thats kinda fun and peppy. The track is mostly supercross style alot of the guys on Z50's and XR 70's have to keep the throttle on the hole way up the face of the jumps cuz there so far spaces (used to be bmx jumps) largest jump on the Z50 done i think out there is 25 foot.

The little one's got an XR-50. It's pretty cool. Same engine and tranny as the Z. Indestructable, and peppy enough to haul me around at a pretty good clip! The XR has a bit of rear suspension, unlike the Z that I had as a kid.
