XR100 Engine Repair

My daughters '96 XR100 was making some noise so we pulled the engine apart. The piston was scored, cylinder scratched, cam bearing areas boogered up, generally a big mess.

Does anyone know if the cam bearing areas can be repaired with inserts or something? Or do we get a new head and cam holder? I haven't looked close at the cam yet, any chance that is still OK?
