xr70 kick start gear or shaft

i have recently came across a xr70 that will not kick start but will pop start easily, it has lots of compression and spark, but the kick start just will not kick right, so i ordered the service manual and im waiting for it to come, but anyway i have a motor that i can take the parts off(yes a xr70) and i am just going to switch the part,i am 17 and very handy with these bikes this is the only thing that i have never done(the gear box) and im very excited to finally know just about everything about them but anyway how hard would you guys rate this job on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the hardest?
