Youth Racing

O.K Guy's,
I am new here and this is a really newb question but here it goes... I did the normal progression, started my son out on a Honda 50 at age 6, then to a Honda 80, then to a Honda 100
and now to a brand spankin new Kawasaki KX85 and wants to go racing. Here's the problem, where the heck do you start racing at in Northern CA? is there a Youth Series?
It seems like there is tons of racing in SoCal for kids. Is there a web site that has this information? We have been to Club Moto but I am thinking more of an AMA Local series. Any and all help would be most apprecaited.

Try talking to the kid behind the parts counter. You should be able to tell which one he is. Actually, he might be back in the shop. Possibly out back assembling bikes. Maybe he's pushing one out onto the floor. He has been racing for a while and will probably be able to tell you all that you need to know.

FruDaddy camr up with the best suggestion that I could think of. Possibly check at the tracks for flyers as well.
