YZ 125 sprocket

Should I stay with a stock rear sprocket on my 2006 YZ 125 or go with a bigger one? What would a 50 something tooth sprocket do for me?

This is my sons bike and he is riding the track. He has not startrd racing yet. I have not re-jetted it the bike is still stock. I guess I am looking for a little more power coming out of turns.

Jetting is the most effective way to get what you are looking for. Cheapest, too.

Do a search of "jetting" and "2-stroke jetting," get out your service manual, and you'll get all of the information you'll need to make that thing pull hard.
