yz 250 stator problems?

i have a 1991 yz 250 and the stator is only putting out three volts and i was wondering if that is normal if not can anyone tell me what it is suppose to be putting out any help would be greatly appreciated

All I have for specs are the resistance values,if you need them I can get them for you

1990-92 yz250
charge coil #1 black to brown 256-384 0hms

charge coil #2 black to black/red 36-54 ohms

pick-up coil black to green/white 104-156 ohms
