I just bought a 2001 yz125 last weekend and wanted to change the crankcase oil but could not find out how much to put in after I drain it. The bike has sat for a while so i want to get it changed real soon. I know you can over fill it and thats what i am tring to avoid. Can someone let me know how much oil i need to put in there, thanks.

On the right hand side of the engine>which is the clutch cover ,there sould be a 8 mm headed bolt about half way up on front of the cover, remove this bolt and keep the bike level when filling> and when oil runs out this hole it is full !!

Isn't the yz two stroke? Why are you putting oil in it?

He incorrectly called it the crankcase, when he really meant transmission case. If you don't put oil in there, you transmission and clutch won't last very long.
