Hey guys, I am looking for a new bike and was thinking the YZ250 is my favorite. but im not sure if i can fit on it... it has a seat height of like 39 inches while my current bike has 35 inches and i cant put my whole foot on the ground. I am 5'9" and 150 lbs. would the suspension on the YZ sag enough so i could put my feet down when riding of would i have 2 buy and smaller bike? what would be best (MX bikes KX, CR etc.)?
Thanks

The seat height on the 125s and 250s is almost identical (within each brand). They lower the frame a little to fit the motor in. I'm 5'10" and have no problem whatsoever riding a YZ 250. The YZ does seem to be the "tallest" bike out there.

For what it's worth, I'm 5'8" 160 lbs., with the bike sag at 100mm (4 inches) I can tiptoe both feet at the same time and hold the bike up. Hope this helps.

1"? that's about all the padding I have on my 04 YZ250 :) I am 5'9" and about 150 lbs as well and there is no problem keeping the bike up ( while sitting still that is) :) Jeff.
