My son is just coming off a 2003 kx65. I learned pretty quickly that the 2003 was pretty much the exact same bike as the 2013 kx65 (without the new price tag).
So now it's time to step up to the next size up. I've had what I thought was a 2005 yz85 of a friends sitting in my shop. I can get a great deal on this bike. I run the vin just to make sure before I order fork seals only to find out that its actually a 97" yz80.
So my question. How much difference is there between this bike and a new/ newer yz85? They look almost exactly the same. Quite a few parts interchange.
It doesn't seem like much technology goes towards the smaller bikes!
