Hey!! I’m new to rebuilding motors so I may not know the correct terms..98% of what I know I learned from YouTube so please hang in there with me..

I’m currently stuck and searched for a week for the solution but I still came up short..I’m in the process of installing the clutch basket but I noticed once I installed the counter shaft driver the crankshaft is hard to turn..once I remove the nut the crankshaft spins freely..i don’t know what’s going on and this it’s odd

Can someone please help me!! If you have any videos of rebuilding a yz85 please send them to me..once again I searched YouTube but came up short every time

Is it possible that there are spacers behind the clutch basket that you are missing and it is jamming the gears up when the nut is tightened? BTW, it probably goes without saying but I use YouTube a lot too but if the info you are getting sounds wonky, use some common sense.
