Hey any of you thump chumps ever herd of replacing a timeing chain at normal intervals on dirtbikes? I have not but we are dealing with a new breed of High performance 4 strokes now and some of the older YZFs and WRFs are starting to see the hours and miles racking up on stock motors.
A fellow YZF owner is replacing his due to swashing noise. He wants to know if he needs to replace or what and how to check the tensionor also.
If the chain dose wear, should the driving and cam sprockets be replaced too?
