2001 yz 125 clutch

I just bought a 2001 yz 125 I knew the clutch was bad I took the cover off and the basket is toast but the plates don't have much wear. the basket has some wobble to it with the plates out but the center hub has no play is that normal? when useing a after market  basket how do you attach the gear to the back? thanks for your help.

Most after market baskets are installed by drilling the rivets out of the stock basket and reriveting the gear on the new basket.Look at the stock basket and see if its riveted together.
