300 EXC power Valve Adjustment

I have heard that the power valve is adjustable but my manual says nothing about it (99 model). How do you do it? In the upper midrange things happen in a hurry. Looking to slow down the transition into the from midrange to the top end.

I suggest screwing in the adjuster screw if you want more low end and less of a hit. Do a few laps with it in various positions. I think you will find obvious differences. Change it a turn or two at a time.
