custom made fasteners like head studs ?

I was reading the ARP catalogue about the importance of nuts and bolts and such for engine rebuilds. Have any DRNers had custom made or used ARP products ?
I'm thinking of replacing my head studs with hopefully some ARP studs.

You know, I was thinking about someting simular to this earlier today.

Why dosen't KTM use head studs instead of bolts? I've always heard that the stud is the engineer's choice, wheras the bolt is the accountant's choice. Nothing else on the KTM seems to be lacking in the way that this is. Is it possible that the bolts are a torque to yield type deal, where they are only good for a single torquing?

Change of plan. I've decided to have brass inserts machined into the cylinder. This will allow me to apply more tension and reduce the risk of the M10x1.25 threads stripping. This way I can still use Honda standard head studs.
