Bubba looked great, he won the race, he did have a few near minor near misses that could have gone bad but I think they all do. Reed lost the race when he clipped a tough block and let Bubba put a gap on him then went down late in the game. RC never looked comfortable on the track. Lots of if's and but's possible, I believe if Reed hadn't of clipped the TB early on we would have seen a really good race for the win between him and Bubba. The results might have been the same or they might not have because maybe Bubba would have bobbled who knows for sure, nobody. I think we're going to see some good racing since Reed really has nothing to lose so why not go all out and win some races since the championship seems out of reach.

Oh and just to tweak Pred.... I bought a RC Tshirt! I think he's really become a better champion than he's been in the past. More real person and less stone face droid.

I'm thinkin' that RC went over to Bubba to make sure he didn't do some stupid dance.

If Bubba had been break dancing on the ground, I would have voted for RC to run him over.

Looked like Bubba put five seconds on them with the holeshot. And the field never recovered from that trauma.

Great race, I personally think that RC had the speed to catch Reedy anytime he wanted to. He was just in cruise mode protecting the championship for Suzuki. He was reeling him in quickly the last lap. No doubt Bubba was gone though, I do not think anyone had anything for him that night.

He's finished 3 mains, which coincidentally is the same number that he's been on the gate for.

It's difficult for a person to finish something he never started. Do you perchance work as some kind of political spin doctor?
Sorry pace but you seem a tad confused??? he missed most of the series due to a crash in the practice leading up to the main, this IMO is far far worse than crashing in the main-technically he has finished in all the mains hes started -but thats only 3 and he crashed in two. Just to remind you he missed most of the season due to the earlier crash and now cant win the series-i know you know all this, but i cant see how your answer really proves much?

Okie should take note of these statistics i just wrote-not that impressive when viewed this way?? :moon:

... the opening ceremony where he looked like a complete idiot.

No comment for Marcus other than, it used to be 1 lap, then it was 20, now it's 1 race, next it'll be one championship, then 4 championships ...

BTW, imagine the spanking if JBS had a front brake.

He had a front brake but it didnt work as it should

I said bubba would win dallas :nener: i said he will crash out at the start of the season, i said rc would start to crash at the exact time he did-im telling you now bubba wont make the end of the outdoors season-he wont win the championship :yikes:

Im not saying he wont learn from these mistakes.I never said he couldnt do a lap or 20

The difference is your impressed by bubbas speed -im impressed by RCs championships, lets face it RC has no real style and is a short arse which IMO isnt good for mx, yet he has the most ama wins. Its a record bubba will take a long time to match assuming he wins every race for the next few years.

So what's the point Marcus? You refuse to see the light until the records are already set and championships won? Pretty easy to be impressed by something of YESTERDAY ... kinda obvious don't you think? It's pretty obvious that things are about to change... you coming along for the ride? MC lovers refused RC when it happened, RC lovers refuse JBS now.

I don't doubt that no one may EVER beat MC's or RC's records... (well, I guess James already has beaten some of RC's, at least the ones he's had a shot at so far), but hey, they doesn't mean by ANY stretch that JBS is faster and more talented than RC.. TODAY. Winning multiple championships is a lot more than speed, we all know that silly man, the question is... let's say JBS wins, uhh.. 4 titles and retires. Does that make him a lesser SX/MX'er than RC? I don't think so... it simply means he hung it up sooner. If he spanks RC/Reed/Everyone in regularity for the rest of the time he elects to ride... then what? Still not as "good" as RC? Just trying to determine where you are coming from.

RC is short? JBS is virtually the same height.
No brake/ brake not "working as it should" ... are you kidding me? What's the difference?

You sir, you have an amazing crystal ball working!
im telling you now bubba wont make the end of the outdoors season-he wont win the championship
That, I'm marking down!

This is fun, let's do it some more please.

Ya'll some kinda experts? I'm headed over to Pontiac to watch JBS put a whippin' on those other boys. I can't wait till the outdoors, I guess I'll have to make it to more than 4 races this year. The group I was with (during Dallas) thought what RC did with James )at the end of the Main) was a little "gay" - course they are youngs fellas (20's and 30's).

Keep up the great work experts, you should listen closer to Rat.

This is fun, who's next?

Bubba won't make the end of season outdoors? Now people are reaching for anything now. Wishful thinking for some I guess.

See Bubbas holeshots in his heat and the main?? If he does that outdoors, that will have a lot of 450 :ride: riders scratchin their heads. I wonder if the AMA will then pass a rule that allows for turbos??........ :)

That was a pretty long straight too..so much for the "four stroke power"...

His KX did sound pretty strong too.

Gay? 20-30's You've got to be kidding. Sounds more like 10 year olds with inferiority complexes. That was one of the coolest things I've seen in SX or MX.

RC wasn't even close to pushing it... When Reed made a mistake before the sand section RC clearly let Reed by on the very next straight...RC isn't going to give Reed the chance to do a takeout move...

Actually I don't think so, but who really knows. The coolest thing, that's a stretch for anybody IMO. I would say a "scrub" is "super-natural" but a hug

Okie the whole point of my comments is bubba goes so fast as he is willing to go over the line-thats why he crashes sometimes(they all do) and looses championships(they all dont) he could easily win-he is the fastest in the world IMO but wont necessarily show it with his results-so hes the fastest but not the best-its not rocket science LOL.

I guess then, we are talking past each other ...
If it takes a certain number of titles to be the best, ie; that's the only criteria, then it's quite possible RC will always be the best.... historically.

What's funny is that most anti-JBS folks would like to think he's out of control all of the time. When I saw practice, I knew that 1) Stewart wasn't going down and 2) he would win the race. To have been there watching him go through the whoops--?not a whoop guy?--he came out of the turn harder than everyone else, had more entrance speed, and simply strafed the top of the whoops. The bike looked like it was barely tilting, and his ass end was as straight as an arrow. Everyone else, Reed included, were dropping their rear wheel into the whoops.

I don't know what was wrong with RC, but he didn't have it at all. It was almost like he was sick, or felt bothered to be there?

Sorry I missed you guys at Nacona. I got there about 3 hours after you left. Riding my 500 over those jumps was like watching a whale fly. ;) What a track!

Not that I think Bubba is out of control, but did anyone see his practice jump where he scrubbed....for whatever reason I have no idea...and landed on the OUTSIDE of the bails about 12 inches from solid concrete floor. Then locked em up and slid across the concrete, spun around and went back on the track.

I wouldn't say he's out of control, but he's got it more on the edge than most. Which can be very rewarding...and can also brake arms.

So tell the truth, which line did you take in the first turn, right or left?

Okie, by the time I got there, most were gone so I never even looked for the gates, to be truthful! :) I just started at the 's' on the SW corner and went from there. Are you talking at the end of the 3 pseudo-tables in front of the 'grandstand'?

Totally agreed  RC congratulated him like a true sportsman, then got the heck out of the spotlight. He didn't stay there trying to share it with JBS, he just "saluted" him and rightly so. RC even said in the post-race interview how hard everyone works to get their first 250cc win. He's a true champion and it shows. He's not cocky anymore, he even laughed about how he wants a 250 win.

RC congratulating Bubba, along with RC saluting the king were two of the most memorable events this season so far.
