There are some things you could do to tailor it to you height or weightor bike use but unless you want it stiffer or softer Id leave it if the new base is working good for you .Id definitely take a peek at the valving as sometimes things get tweaked and shims get cupped if so Just flip them over if they arent getting thinned out , also youll want to look at the rebound valving making sure its lined up , Good to clean it out as maintenance . On WP its real easy to acess the mid that I like to get in there and have a look whenever working on these forks so its a common practice . youll want to watch the rebound triangular delta shims as if they come even a bit loose theyll spin on the cartridge haft and get sucked into the mid valve piston ports and break or Jam . ive seen the top out soprings break once or twice right above the post also .

Thanks for your reply. I just had the forks apart and midvalve shims,rebound shims and top out springs was ok.I was only curious about the midvalve.
