(Warning those offended by grown men in plaid should stop reading this thread now) Does anyone know if there is a public glof course in Stillwater? I have recently succumbed to middle age and taken up golf, and by mid week I might be sore enough to take a day off from the track :)

Beef,
I might consider arriving in Stillwater early and join you in a round. What does Wed. morning sound like to you?

Elk, you can caddie for me, if you do not have a previous engagement.

Bad idea Jay, I hear that Elk can't be trusted around the ball washer.

Sounds good to me. LOL...I stink too! Well, not really THAT bad...I did shoot a 78 the other day.
The back nine gave me a bit more trouble though.:yikes:

Maybe Derek can hook some brotha's up??? :)
Is the country club public? Or should we be looking at Lakeside?
Do any of these Stillwater courses allow us to bring our own thumper...err...I mean, cart??? :debil:

LOL!

If I still had clubs, I'd be there! It's been at least 6 years since I've played. Would be fun. Thump says "Okay" to being in charge of DW this year  , I should have some free time for a change!

I'd get Elk to carry my bag and wash my balls... since I have no grass to cut.

You guys look me up. If I can rent some clubs, I might play too. And yes, I suck bad.

Guys, I can bring another set of clubs...

Bob, if it's been six years since you hit a ball, you may well be able to play a nice round!
The more often I play, the worse I suck! LOL...

OK things to remember to take to Cooperland:
1) golf clubs
2) extra set of golf clubs
3) disapearing ink pens
4) golf bag full of big sticks (in case Gomer wants to play)

George told me "if you take most of those clubs out, you can get a lot more beer in those bags."

I carry no bags nor clean any type of ball for you stinky Americans. I CAN cut a mean lawn, with my eyes closed and one burrito tied behind my back. I think the term public service has been beat to death. :moon:
