The water pump housing is part of the rh crank case cover and is very expensive to replace the whole thing. Fix the hole with a good epoxy. The seals are very cheap so replace them too. First drain the coolant and tranny oil. Remove water pump cover and remove impeller. Now remove the water hoses and then the kick starter then remove tha rh crank case cover. Find hole inside water pump, fix with devcon plastic steel epoxy. Get new seals from honda, put them in and put bike back together.

Start with the seals and work from there. Make sure the shaft is smooth as a babies butt to avoid damaging the new seals.

I couldn't find a diagram for a '85. Below is a link to the oldest I could find. Hopefully it'll get you going in the right direction?

Now does anyone know if honda sells the whole side crank thing with the pump already on cause thats a bitch to work with I think. So let me know if u think they do and I dont want to spend over 200$ so let me know if it would be over that.
