Basically you can cut out about 10mm from the rear support of the subframe and weld it back together. You want to be certain to take equal amounts from both sides and have a real welder who's familiar with aluminum do the welding.
I think if you cut 10mm out you will be in trouble with mounting the silencer and seat. 5 to 6mm is sugested. 6mm cut out drops the rear of the seat about 15mm. Happy to fax you the article if you want it.
Actualy, I have the article somwhere. I just have to find it. It seems pretty straight forward. By the way, I've heard that lowering the subframes on KTMs is a fairly common thing. Why is this? Is it cause they're taller than most bikes or somthing?
