i just bought my son a gutless jr50 im going to do the first gear mod & i found aftermarket plastic at maier-mfg but where can i find some graphics suzuki wants way way to much for just one side, also if anybody has any mods to give this thing alittle extra zip please let me know any ideas would be helpful thanks kirk

Gutless? Has the exhaust restrictor been removed?

no i didnt do anything to it yet just washed it & got training wheels where is it at the cylinder?or spark arrestor? there was alot of oily build up almost dripping from the pipe the plug was completely black & gummy & the air filter was clogged but its still gutless kirk

Im not familiar with that bike but a smaller countershaft sprocket should help.

What year is the bike? Our 2004 kdx50 had a restrictor plug in the exhaust headpipe. I thought I read that some older bikes also had a restrictor on the intake side but I'm not positive about that.

Have you checked the compression? I may need a top end.

I'm sorry, but if you need to have training wheels on it, then it needs to remain "gutless". Don't seek additional performance, until your kid can ride it.
