silencer swap

Good evening.
I understand the 200 and the 220 are basically the same bike. So my question is this; I have what is I think a 94 kdx220, would the silencer for a 96 kdx200 fit straight on? It looks like it would but I only have a picture and not the part to try it.

Nah. As far as I know, the 220 was not released until 1997. If you have a 94 frame, it was a 200. If it has a 220 engine in, it was put in from a 97+ model.

For a straight fit silencer, you'll want an 89-94 model. 95+ was a good bit different, although you could probably make one fit.
