Holeshot

Great turn out, a little dusty but not bad. 89er took us into his domain and treated us like the dogs we are. Creek crossings, nearly 3 feet! Hill climbs, rock dodging, steep downhills, fast fire road stuff, Mr Toad's Wild Ride and some street traversing. We headed out and hit most every kind of terrain with 89er leading the pack. A few of the guys showed me their GPS's, it's ok, we're close.;) Thanks for the input on those.

I think JPIVEY took the most dirt samples of the pack, maybe he likes it or summthin. Specially at the Grapes of Wrath where he hit the same spot twice!:scream: Anywho, Joker took a step off down a hill and can't remember anyone elses. I enjoyed the WR once again, worked like a charm and carried my butt eveywhere and anywhere. The views were unbelievable and I think JPIVEY took some great shots so you Texans can see what real terrain is like, and grass, and flowers, and water.:moon:

Thanks again Terry, we'll be back when you name the next tour time!!

What a fun ride. That’s a pretty sweet setup you have there 89er. Riding through the hills, in the grass, next to the freeway, that fallen log detour, up, down, all around. We even got to see the factory practice tracks! We had a couple spills, but nothing big. I dropped my bike twice just trying to get turned around on one section. Really enjoyed the ride, thanks for having us out there.

Pictures damnit!  I want pictures.  Sounds like a cool ride.... except for the scheming that was going on.  That will get you nowhere except stuck in a big ol' pile poop! :thumb:

It was an awsome ride, the green hills, wildflower, creek crossings,it was cool, 38 miles of heaven.

I did feel like I was back in preschool, everytime I truned around I was taking a nap, 4 of them, I've gotten pretty good at crashing and saving the camera gear

Grapes of Wrath, LOL, you're not kidding, it was so easy and yet it kicked my butt twice, in row

Terry, thanks for the invite and the ride, I'll post some pictures in a couple of days and hope they do it justice :thumb: :thumb:

Oops (whoops?) I guess I posted in the wrong spot. I agree with all and then some... to sum it up, Great ride, Great people, and Great conversation. Special thanks to Ol'89r for sharing and being a perfect trailboss.

My riding skills definitely improved from that ride, and I hope you won't mind me tagging along again next time.

Thanks to all, ...N

It was my pleasure guys. Thanks for coming out. :thumb:

Everyone did great! I thought JP did very well considering he was lugging that big ol' camera and camera bag around and riding a KTM 520 with a sticking throttle. :scream: Your my new hero JP. :worship:

The ride was going to be an easy one, but everyone seemed very capable, so I threw a little of our regular loop in on the way back. Hope nobody minded the rocky downhills.

Glad everyone was able to come. It was great meeting YZandrew and nick414. You guys are more than welcome to join us anytime.

Mid week might be possible if I go late enough. Sunday is daylight savings so it will be light later. I could ride maybe at 4:00 PM and get a loop in if we are close to the house ;)

Me too, me too, me too, Pleeeezzze?!!! That was soooo fun... Mind the downhills? Those are probably better than hemmy surgery!

I'm reading my Semics' book so next time I can hit that I-15 jump...

Pray for rain, the temp just dropped 10 degrees here.

Good God. Elkie poo-poo turned an innocent thread into a man-love thread! Seems to be the norm for the So-Gay Necking Crew though.... :uh:

Ol8Whiner, I knew Carlos was down with the brown, but I had no idea about you bigboy!! You bring that banjo to my tent and we will have a good Ol Time, if ya catch my drift. ;)

What about the rest of you wankers?

Sounds like "riding" in the So-Gay Necking Krew has a meaning I am not quite familiar with or comfortable with for that matter.

Elk - as a matter of fact I do sleep with one eye open and have never woken up to find any money in the palm of my hand, so don't even think about sneakin' over to my camp!

:scream: Oh my God! What's that horrendous glare in our clubhouse. Oh, I see. It's Milky white cheeks. Ol' Twinspurs musta called in reinforcements. :)

Twinny, I'm glad you were able to get your fingers out of your nose long enough to type something. Find anything good up there??? LOL. (RE; Subscribers forum thread by Milk.)

Jeff. Since you already sleep with one eye open, you can be their lookout.

Milk. The kind of riding we were doing is called trail riding. We do a lot of it out here in California. I realize it is pretty boring in the North Texas Snack Pack forum where you guys talk about the latest recipe and your x-box's and how it's too hot to ride or too cold to ride or whine, whine, whine.

So, I guess if you have to come into our clubhouse and live your lives through our adventures, that's ok. We understand.

Nick. We got a little rain last night. Pray for more. :yeehaw:
