My son has a CRF80 that has gone through 2 tubes in 3 rides on the front tire. The bike is only about a month old so the first was the original tube, and the 2nd was the one the local shop put in it. Is this just a coincidence or does something contribute to this problem? We've been riding at a track that is clean with a few bumps and one small (3 feet) jump.

Any suggestions?

I assume you're getting a pinch flat. How much air pressure were you running? Don't let it get below 10 psi.

Also throw away the rubber rim strip and replace it with 2-3 layers of duct tape of the same width as the rubber strip. That will keep the spokes from popping the tube better that the rubber strip.

I noticed the tire did look a little low in both cases. I asked the guy at the shop if that mattered and he said no, but it seems logical to me? Thanks for the advice.
