Say I am looking for a yamaha clutch part and the part number is 3R4-16380-01-00 and I find the same part but a year newer with a part number 4V4-16380-01-00 as you can see all the numbers are the same except the first three, are these parts interchangeable? does anyone know what the first three numbers are referring to and so on? also I noticed hardware part numbers start out with five numbers such as this yamaha nut 95311-08700-00 any explanation on what each set of numbers mean would be helpful.
