My dealer is selling me an 02 RM 250 for $3800 out the door!! but in a month or so he said he will have the 03 model for $4,250 o.t.d. should i wait to get a 03 because i heard suzuki fixed some of the jetting problems for 03, and what is the differences in the two bikes good/bad? thanks.

I wouldn't worry about jetting problems, because those can be easily fixed! BUT, I think it would be worth it to wait for an 03 because it is easily worth $3-400 depreciation value! Not to mention that the 03 RM RIPS from all accounts!

For that kind of price difference I would wait for the '03 RM.  Even MXA :scream: said that the '03 RM rocks. :aj: Either way those prices are awesome.

Ditto, if you have the choice, go with the 03.

I know that they are excellent carvers. Would it benefit with some sort of stabilizer without affecting lower speed carving?
Thanks.

I think that steering stabilizers are intended more for desert riding where the rider is in top gear going over extremely rough terrain. I don't know how well it works for MX, but I don't think it would be worth it. It probably weighs down the front end slightly as well. You'll get used to the headshake with a little time on the bike and probably won't even think twice about it. I used to panic when my front end did that, but now it doesn't even faze me.
