Does anyone know what the displacement will be on the '03 big bore RFS? I'm on the list for one but the dealer hasn't got a yes or no yet. A definite answer would be nice but I'll also take "I heard" or "someone told me".
"I've heard" 540 and I've also heard 570. Also, "someone told me" the SX would be 450cc only, and the MXC and EXC would have a 450 and 540. I think anything you hear at this point will only be guesses, though.
Interesting. Either way, 520/540/570, I can't wait to get my grubby mits on a new one. The one I've got has been the best bike I've ever owned, by far, so whatever KTM comes up with will be good enough for me. A friend of mine in SoCal has installed the ignition part of the 540 kit, that alone has greatly improved the power delivery on the bottom, which is already great. He's installing the cylinder soon so we might get a preview of the 540. I'll keep you posted. Any other news?
