04 KX 250 comments?

I am looking at getting an '04 KX 250 or a KX 250F through a business deal. My last bike was an '02 YZ 250, which was a great bike. I had originally planned to get a CRF 450 but, this opportunity came up.

My riding is primarily track and trail. Even though i live in Utah, I don't find myself in the wide-open desert very often so, it seemed like the 250F would not be at too much of a disadvantage.

Any comments on the KX 250? How is the suspension in stock form for a 180lbs guy?

I have a kx250 and wiegh 175 lbs. I used to live in Utah and loved the desert riding. But If your a trail and track guy I would with the KX250F

i read somewhere that the kx250f is a great trail bike, but still won't climb the hills as good as a 250 2-stroke will. I'd say get the kx250.
