i recently just bought a 525 and when you let off the gas it spits and sputers. i was told that rejetting it would fix it and i did, and it helped but it still does it a little bit.
any suggestions?

i am guessing that you need to adjust the mixture control screw. also make sure you have the eclip in the right slot on the needle. i have had the same problem with my 450. the ktm air/fuel adjuster screw helps adjust things alot easier.

r u using jets and needle position or did u install a JD kit????

the JD is a drop in and it works well......u can get it jetted correctly but it takes some experimentation...

My brother's 05 did the same thing. The needle comes in a really lean position to meet some epa regulation or something like that  . Drop the clip two positions and then hang on! It really wakes the bike up. The JD jetting kit also works very well!
