.080 over legal?

forgive my ignorance but have only raced 2 AMA races before. In the stock bore class is the .080 over legal? Or the equal in stroking? I found in chapter 3 of the rule book where it says max overbore is .080 but its under the modified section so I'm a little confused. I was given an .080 over cylinder for the kids bike but I'm not sure where it would be legal. Also we are moving to Colorado and it looks like SRAC is adopting all the AMA rules for next year.

from what I can tell the .080 over is only legal for ama mod classes on 65cc and above. so I guess its not oc for the Cobra 50.

I will have the whole list of passed rules posted up on the web site very soon. .080 over is history in stock AND mod classes. not sure if this rule goes into effect in 03 or 04. will update.
