I just bought the new 09 KX250F, Its a sweet bike but has a shifter problem with my boots. The distance between the shifter and the foot peg will not allow me to get my boots underneath the shift lever. I bought a hammerhead but it does not fit the 09 model (has been re-designed for 09) and had to return it even though the website says it has an 09 available. I called them and they indeed said it was a misprint on the site. I can not find anyone who makes a longer shifter for the 09 models yet. If anyone knows of one out there please help...........I even tried to lift the shifter up one notch and that still did not help.
