I've got a new to me '80 Husqvarna 250 OR and plan on replacing the ignition stator. How do I adjust the timing? Do I measure 1.8mm back from top dead center (is 1.8 right?). Once I get this and loosen the backing plate, what do I do put some kind of pins/rods in the back of the flywheel to self adjust the backing plate to the correct timing.....help please?:silly:
