1980 It 125g

So I just picked up a IT 125 but it needs a gas tank. Can anyone tell me if the IT 175 gas tank is the same or not? I cant seam to get a part # cross reference Thanks

Under the articles tab, there are a few links to tests on your bike. Maybe buried in the text they say what overlaps.

There are also some parts manuals.

Sounds like the overall package for the IT125G was smaller and lighter than the '80 IT175. Maybe an earlier IT175 tank would fit... just a thought.

Thanks Dave I think the IT125 may have ben built on the YZ100 frame platform I can get a new tank for the 175 from clark so I sent them an email to see if it will fit the 125

I noticed there are some forums on that IT site, including one for the 125.

If it was on the YZ100 frame, that explains why it is so much lighter than the 175.

Sounds like a perfect trail bike for a teen or a young lady.
