Hi guys. I have a 1980 Suzuki GN 400 that I plan to put in a go cart. I left the engine in a prtion of the frame and took alll the wires off i could. Befroe I had down all of this tried to run it. It runs off of starting fluid but i think the carburator is not supplying it with fuel. Does anybody know where i can get a carberator kit or a new carb? I need to get it running. Would suzuki have any? oh and the carb is a Mikuni.

I loved my 1980 GN400. But I got to tell you, I think that motor would be just awful in a go cart. It signs-off at about 7,000 rpm.

Regarding your starting problem, is the gas tank mounted above the carb?

It was when not running. But now that the bike is apart it is going to be hard to start. I think it is the carb. Any ideas on the carb. All I know is that it is a Mikuni 36mm.
