I'm 15 and I just bought my first dirt bike. The bike was pretty old so I took the carburator into my small engines class took take it apart and clean it and my somewhat retarded teacher put the floats in upside down without me knowing. Now after I put the floats in right the thing spews gas everywhere out of the overflow. I tried adjusting the float level with the tab and that makes it stop the gas but as soon as you try to start ithe engine, it starts leaking again and it doesn't stop until you turn of the petcock. Has anyone ever hear of this? does anyone have any ideas about what to do? any help would be greatly appreciated
