1985 rm125 i just picked up. value? EDITED 1987*

Correction, the bike is a 1987. Friend told me it was 1985 and i posted this right before i went to go pick it up. but yeah. Ill take pictures of it but i still havn't kicked it over. Kinda afraid it might start.

Well i just picked up a 1987 rm125 that has really barely ever been ridden. it looks almost brand new covered with about a pound of dust. but has been sitting in a garage for 15 years or so with gas in the petcock/carb/lines. i bought it without even trying to kick it over. from my experience with my porsche that sat for 7 years, you need to fix things before you try and start them.

what should i do before i even kick it over and try and start it. and i may sell it...what would a super low hour 1987 rm125 be worth if its runnin like its brand new?

It's a good idea to pull the top end and carb apart. If it didn't come with one, go pick up a service manual.

Value? 800 bucks maybe?
