1988 kdx 200 c3 stuck in gear -HELP !!

DROPPED MY KDX GENTLY ON A BERM AT MY LOCAL TRACK ,NOW IT IS STUCK IN GEAR [2ND OR 3RD ] THE BIKE WAS HARD TO GET INTO NEUTRAL WHEN RUNNING, ALWAYS HAD TO KILL THE ENGINE TO FIND NEUTRAL,THE CLUTCH IS WORKING BUT DRAGGING , ANY IDEAS GUYS ??THE BIKE IS A CANADIAN C3 MODEL 1988.

Take off the right side cover and see if the shifter thingie has a broken spring.

Sorry to butt in on this thread but Jaguar....You post the specs for the regulator for the indicators on the SR a while back. Its the big ceramic twisted coil regulator.. Can you remember what the specs of it were?

Ive only just got back into sorting the SR and need the details for it.

I've got an '88 kdx200 also and had to replace the spring Jaguar is talking about. The shifter would kind of work, but for lack of a better term, was limp.

Kawasaki has a good parts diagram on their website where you can get the part number.
