1988 Kdx200 C3 Kips Strip Down Tips

I'M LACKING THE POWERBAND ON MY '88 ' KDX 200 C3 , CAN ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON STRIPPING THE POWERVALVE DOWN ?, WITH THE HEAD REMOVED BUT THE BARREL & PISTON STILL ON THE BLOCK , IS IT POSSIBLE TO STILL CLEAN THE POWER VALVE OUT WITHOUT REMOVING THE PISTON ?.

I have a 98 kdx 220 and i am pretty sure that the same engine is in both of the bikes. So you should be ok. I had to clean my kips out a couple of months back. You dont have to take off the head, you do have to remove the pipe and a couple other things to get to it.
