1991 CR250 oil mix question

Hey guys. I picked up a 91 CR250 off ebay to use as a backup bike for when my 00 CR250 goes down.
Anyways my question is do you mix the 91 32:1?
Reason i ask is because a buddy of mine has a 89 CR125 and the service manual calls for 20:1. And i was wondering if the 91's still called for such a thick mixing?

I used Yamahalube 'R' at 32:1 in my '91 CR250 with very good results.

Thats what i guessed but i figured i would ask someone whos owned a 91.

I own a 91 CR250 and have been using Bel-Ray MC-1 @ 50:1.

Wow thats thin. Doesn't your top-end go out a lot quicker when mixing so little oil?

I use the honda blue stuff @ 32:1 in the 250 and 85 and the weedeater.

The oil is dedsignedfor 50:1 mix ratio

if you dont mind smoke and loss of power i would say 32:1 is o.k. but if you want it to burn clean and go i run 50:1 motul 800.......................

i used like mobrown on my '89cr250. Use whatever the Oil manufacturer recommends, not the bike manufacturer.
