1995 suzuki 250 wont crank

I have a 1995 rm250 that wont crank, ive tryed new plugs and stuff still nothing when i try puting gas in the head with the spark plug it makes a wierd nosie after about 5 kicks like it trys to backfire
it was running fine till one day it stop running and wont crank back up
