I'm considering buying a 1997 Husaberg FE501 for $1000 off a friend, it's got the enduro kit, and it's also street legal. Anyone got any tips? I live in California. What will probably need maintenance? It's a very clean bike, so I'm not too worried, but I want to know what to look out for. Also, what are your general impressions of the 501? I'm 6', 250 lbs, so I can definitely handle it. I ride mostly trails, and I'd like to try some desert/enduro pretty soon.
