I have a 1997 yz125 that has been sitting for a few months now. It was mine in high school then my brother rode it. My brother joined the Navy and is stationed in Nevada so the bike just sits. I currently have an 05 yz250 and an 06 rm250. I have been considering rebuilding/ hot rodding the yz125 to make it a woods weapon. The engine is tight, and it just needs tlc, but the forks and shock are a calamity. The fork seals blew out some time ago and I never addressed it. So my questions are 1: is it worth doing and 2: would the forks and shock off of a newer model yz125 or 250f fit this bike? Im referring to speed sensitive suspension.
