what do you think about the 1998 ktm 200exc, how does it compare to 125s and such, motor and suspension wise. i found a good deal on one and the only thing i am worried about is the front fork because its conventional and not inverted--does it still do a good job and what adjustments does it have. i do mostly agressive trail rideing, big hills and some jumping. i am 15, 5'7 and 125 lbs.

FunkyD, in comparison this bike blows away any 125s except for the suspension. But it is still twice that of the KDX. You could always just put an inverted fork on it.

Not sure what was on the 200, but the 50mm zokes that are on the 250 of the same year are good suspenders.

"But it is still twice that of the KDX" is BS!
The KTM is a good bike. Since your 15, and 5'7 I would go with the KDX. Also iam a agressive woods rider and i couldnt see myself on any other bike, even the KTM.I race mine and do motocross with it and its amazing. I rode the KTM up at Eddieville in washington and didnt really like it.

I've had the kdx200, many 125s, a 250exc and the 200exc is BY FAR my favorite bike. If your a smaller guy and riding in the woods.. this is a GREAT bike. Good luck and hope this helps!
