2 quick suzuki questions? DS 80

Alright what years will have compatible parts with a 1985 ds80? Also when I shift form 1st to 2nd it goes to neutral and I cant get it into 2nd.... Why does this happen? Thanks

Well, the way the gearbox works for that is.
1st- up
Nuetral- Slightly up
2nd- all the way up

Try putting more force and move your foot more up when shifting from first to second.
