2 stroke big bore???

has any1 bored out their 250? cuz i got a crack in my plating, so i'm gonna have to either bore it out or weld it. and who did ur work?

i've heard that it has some bad side effects. like over heating and faster wear.

it's a 2003 CR250 if that helps. Also, has any1 had Eric Gorr do it? on his site, it looks like a pretty good deal. for my make and model, he has a 265 or 275.

You cant weld it. You can sleeve them.

what do u mean i can't weld it? i'm not doing it myself or anything, but sending it out to a shop to replate it.

You cant weld it.

Welding cylinders, bridges, etc done correctly is not an issue. It's specialty work, but it's done successfully every day.
