Well, it's time to buy a bike. I really want a Honda CRF-X, but the money you have to spend is ridiculous and the valve maintenance is kinda scary. I've heard so many good things about the KDX that I am convinced that for around $4k it is the way to go, esp. since all I will be doing is some trail riding maybe once or twice a week.
So, here is my dilemma: Should I get the 200 or the 220? 220 is going out of production for next year and what I seem to hear about that bike is that it has some nice bottom-end but not much up top which is fine because I'd rather screw around doing wheelies. So, I don't plan on modding it at all really. I just want to put the gas mix in and go. I am coming off an '00 RM250 that I trail rode and was fine with. I just want something reliable with good snap off the throttle that can wheelie over logs in 1, 2, 3rd gears. So am I correct in choosing the 220 or??? I know this probably has been posted a million times but these threads aren't as searchable as they used to be... Thanks...
