2002 ktm 520 sx, opinions?

I've been offered a 2002 KTM 520SX, in trade for my 2000 RM250, with me throwing on some cash of course. Yes, I know it's a big heavy bike that I probably can't handle.. but I can live with that haha.

I just want to know...... do they break alot? Do they have decent power compared to it's weight? And are they miserable to start when hot?

The bike would be mainly used for trail riding, open logging roads.

Oh, and does it have an electric start?

No electric start and a mistake of a trade in my opinion for a trail bike.

Look at it this way. Why would he want to trade it if he is telling you its such a good bike? There is something that might have bothered him to a point of wanting to sell or trade.
