What do you guys recommend for a beginning rider on the track as far as set up for compression/rebound on a 2003 cr250. I weigh about 160lbs w/o gear. Thanks for the input!

You probably need a good revalve, but for starters just to get you in the ballpark, you need to go to a .41 to .42 fork spring and a 4.8 rear spring. Stock is .44 and 5.1.

Set oil height to 365cc

After that if you still want to try it without a revalve, set the forks to reb. 12 out, comp to 16 out and bleed the air a lot. Set shock to 2 turns on the high speed comp and 18 on low speed comp and then set the rebound to 12 out.

owners manual should have something on the shock adjuster and compression damping adjuster you can try to adjust your suspension by if u dont feel like getting into anything.
