2005 RM85 Electrical

Need a little advice. 05 RM85 pops and breaks up over 1/3 throttle. All mechanical things perfect leads me to believe its electrical. I heard these have stator problems. Would that sound like this? Thanks

hi, try change your spark plug and cleaning your carb

They do have stator problems at times,mind you not very often. They have a high speed and a low speed stator.

Any friends with an RM85? If so I'd try swapping the CDI to a known good one.

I got a complete stator assembly with cdi on ebay right now with very low buy it now price....
