2006 CRF 230 Engine oil

I just bought a 2006 CRF 230 on 12-21-08 I would like to know the engine oil capacity and if it has oil filter on it...

I am going to go riding soon and the service manual is on order

Those are the most basic engines around. Evolved from the XR line of motor.

First I would suggest to go to your dealer and get a Honda or Clymers manual to help you out. Best investment someone like you could make.

There is not an oil filter, but on the drain cap there is a oil screen that needs to be cleaned. oil amount should be on the side cover.
