Ok we did the 2nd gear mod to the bike and my dad said the bike shifted by hand just fine into all gears and he turned the motor over a few revolutions to make sure nothing was wrong before he tried to actually crank it..well when he did finally kick it normally to start it he said something busted the clutch cover pretty good...like the clutch got thrown into the cover.
He said when he took the clutch cover off the flat roller bearing and one of the plates behund the main plate that you see when you first take the clutch cover off just fell out. He did not take those off during the modification. I however did take them off the day before and realized that I needed to take the ebtire engine side cover off so I put the three bolts back in and tightened them back down.
Any ideas why or how the cover busted? Thanks!
